Sure I know what a blog is, after all it’s not a new concept and working in the technology field it’s a term I have heard many times, but never gave much thought about what was involved in starting and maintaining a blog. So here I am preparing to write my first blog, launching the first ever Dynamic Campus blog and realized that I really should educate myself a bit more on the art of blogging. When you begin to discuss Text Messaging at Colleges or Universities, the first thought that comes to mind is Emergency Notifications. Recent tragedies and national disasters are certainly driving most institutions to pursue efficient and timely communication solutions that can quickly reach each student, regardless of their location, both on or off campus. The most effective tool associated with emergency notifications today is the use of Text Messaging to student’s cell phones.
